Peter M. Accardi, the founder of Positive Math Attitude, has been a highly qualified, professional mathematics teacher and coach for more than two decades.
He graduated cum laude from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Oswego with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education K-9 Mathematics Concentration which included a NYS Provisional Public School Certificate, as well as completing minors in Athletic Coaching and Health Science.

He has held a California Clear K-12 Mathematics Credential since 2004 and NYS Mathematics 7-12 Certification since 2019.

In 2010, Peter achieved his National Board Certification in Adolescence and Young Adulthood Mathematics.

He furthered his education at Concordia University-Portland earning his Masters in Curriculum and Instruction of Mathematics.
Pete has taught all 6-12 Mathematics courses, along with Physical Science, Physical Education, Math Engineering Science Achievement (MESA), SAT Prep, and coached numerous sports throughout his professional career spanning over 25 years.
